Rose/Eros
![]() |
The rose is the symbol of transience, of spring and beauty, of completion and perfection. It is "a symbol of Love and metamorphosis of passion (red rose)..." (pg.59), of mystical splendor and unconditional achievement (golden rose). Eros is the Greek name for Cupid, the god of love. See also: Venus (Venus is the Roman name for Aphrodite, the goddess of love). |
