Mario Lunetta was born in 1934, in Rome, where he still lives. He has written poems, plays, novels and essays, and has been for some time now energetically involved in the European cultural debate. He has been invited to lecture in various universities in Italy and the United States. He has published various volumes of verse and several novels, including I ratti d'Europa, and Puzzle d'autunno. His collected essays include Invito alla lettura di Italo Svevo, . He edited the two anthologies, Poesia italiana oggi, and Poesia italiana della contraddizione. He has published monographs on several important contemporary artists. Various of his books have been translated into English, Polish, German and Greek. |
