Alberto Sughi Alberto Sughi (b. Cesena, 1928), one of the best-known painters of his generation, has been involved since the fifties in a penetrating inquiry into the existential condition of man. In his Man alone in the City, Man and Alienation, Man and Memory, Man and the Occult Powers, painting becomes narrative and takes on the scale of the European novel. |

He has exhibited in many places in Italy and abroad, including the Royal Palace at Caserta, Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, Villa d'Este in Tivoli, Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara and has had large shows in Prague, Budapest, Moscow and Tokyo. |
